This Cabo travel guide starts with my Four Seasons pool photo: blue water, a shaded lounger and the Sea of Cortez beyond it. My Cabo photos also take in Palmerio breakfast and a boat day. Those are the moments I would build a short trip around, with a small wardrobe that moves from a slow morning to dinner without a suitcase full of changes.

The packing mood is light and considered: blue gingham linen dress, metallic flat sandals, a wide-brim raffia hat and one printed strapless dress for the evening. These are current pieces I would pack for the setting.
Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol: Pool Mornings and What to Wear
First, the hotel distinction matters. This is Four Seasons Resort Cabo Del Sol, on the Golden Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, not the Costa Palmas property on the East Cape. The resort has three pools, a spa and beach access. Give the first morning room to breathe instead of scheduling an excursion straight after breakfast.
For the pool, I would start with the green bandeau swimsuit and pull on the blue gingham linen dress when it is time to leave the lounger. The Adalee has a fitted bodice and pleated skirt; its linen has no added stretch, so use the measurements rather than assuming a close fit will give. The metallic flat sandals work with both that dress and evening pieces, while the wide-brim raffia hat adds a wider brim and a chin cord for breezier moments. Leather sandals are for the terrace, not water shoes.

Palmerio Breakfast: A Slow Start and an Easy Linen Outfit
My Palmerio photo catches the breakfast spread, with cheeses, fruit, charcuterie and little jars of jam. It is the kind of detail worth leaving time for. Palmerio is within La Casona and serves breakfast as well as dinner, with a Mediterranean menu inspired by the French and Italian Rivieras. At the time of writing, breakfast runs daily from 7 to 11:30 a.m.; check the hotel schedule before making a very late start.

For breakfast and a wander around the resort, the natural linen pencil skirt gives a simple outfit a little structure. The elasticated back and back split are practical details, though the narrow skirt is less useful for an active outing. Wear it with the black cotton cardigan as a light top or layer, and add the floral square scarf to the cream woven leather tote. The woven tote has room for daytime things, but it is leather rather than a washable beach bag. Keep it away from wet towels and sand.

A Cabo Boat Day, Then Dinner Back at the Resort
My boat-day photo is a reminder to see Cabo from the water, not only from a pool terrace. I would leave one day for a private outing and keep the rest of that day loose. Ask the concierge or the resort adventure centre to help choose an operator, departure point and route for the conditions. Keep the route flexible for the weather.

Use the swimsuit and light layers above for the boat, but follow the operator’s advice on secure footwear, sun protection and what to bring. Save the printed strapless dress, shell-shaped brass earrings and raffia evening clutch for when you are back on land. The strapless printed dress is the statement; a small raffia clutch keeps the rest quiet. If a dress is not your evening uniform, the natural linen trousers are the softer tailored option with the black cotton cardigan. Check the available sizes before planning around them.
Palmerio is an easy dinner choice to investigate after seeing it in the morning. For another evening, the resort also lists Cayao for Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cooking, Coraluz for a Baja Mexican lunch and Sora for rooftop drinks. Check the current menus and opening nights before making plans. The printed dress, metallic sandals and shell-shaped earrings suit a dinner reservation; the linen trousers and cardigan are the quieter version of the same plan.

What Else to Do at Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol
The point of staying somewhere like this is not to fill every hour. The resort lists Tierra Mar Spa, golf, an artisan studio and guided land-and-sea outings through its 360° Baja Adventure Centre. Pick the one that suits your trip instead of treating them as a checklist. For an easy resort afternoon, repeat the gingham dress and flat sandals; for an actual golf round or water activity, ask the provider about the right clothing and equipment.

My arrival photo anchors the place behind the packing list. A cream woven leather tote and black cotton cardigan are useful travel-day companions, while the floral square scarf adds color without another full outfit. The raffia evening clutch is the smaller bag to keep for dinner rather than trying to make one tote do everything.
Cabo Travel Guide: The Practical Questions
Which Four Seasons is this?
Four Seasons Resort Cabo Del Sol, in Cabo San Lucas’ Golden Corridor. Check the property name when you book transfers or dinner, since Four Seasons also has a separate East Cape resort.
Can you swim at the beach?
The resort describes its beach as swimmable. That is not a guarantee for every day or every spot. Ask staff about the current sea conditions and follow the beach guidance before entering the water.
What should you pack for a short Cabo stay?
A swimsuit, an easy daytime dress, flat sandals, a sun hat, a light layer and one dinner outfit make a useful starting point. This edit keeps the colors connected so the same accessories can work more than once.
Do you need a plan for the boat day?
Yes. Confirm the operator, meeting point, duration, weather policy and what is included before committing. Keep valuables protected and follow the crew’s safety guidance.
