A perfect LA day for me is a Lagree class, sushi lunch, a little shopping, and a coffee. We did the lunch part at Sora Temaki Bar Los Angeles, the rooftop temaki spot above the Original Farmers Market on 3rd, and their lunch prix fixe is one of the best deals in the neighborhood. Here is what the lunch is like, what to wear for a workout-to-lunch day, and how to plan it.
The Sora Temaki Bar Lunch Prix Fixe
Sora is on the rooftop at 3rd and Fairfax, above the Farmers Market. The lunch prix fixe is $32 and built around their temaki: you start with small plates, then build your own hand rolls at the table.
The little how-to card walks you through it: rice and fillings on the paddle, nori from the wooden box, wrap, and eat it right away while the nori is crisp.
What We Ordered
We started with the albacore sashimi with crispy onion and the spicy tuna crispy rice with edamame.
Then the temaki paddles arrive and you build your own.
