Studies show that your personality changes based on whether or not you workout. Article was in @incmagazine today where they did a study ? on 9,000 people and they found that “An inactive lifestyle doesn’t just impact your body, it impacts your personality too–and not for the better.” .

The study, “found that subjects who reported being less active had greater reductions on average in conscientiousness, openness, agreeableness, and extroversion–four of the so-called Big Five personality traits–even after accounting for differences in baseline personality and health. No link was found with the fifth trait, neuroticism,” reports Scientific American.

IF that’s not enough to get you moving at least 30 minutes a day I don’t know what will. ..
Why Should We Exercise? Fitness
Fitness is definitely something every busy person needs to prioritize in their lives. As someone who works full time and has a husband, daughter, home ? and other responsibilities it is easy for me to say “well I don’t have time today.” .

Exercise has many benefits that are physical as well as mental. If we make an appointment with ourselves the same way we make appointments for work meetings, lunches, ?⚕️ doctor’s appointments etc we can easily fit in a good workout or walk or run ?♀️ at least 3 – 4 times a week.

Think about how many times you sat looking at Instagram for 30 plus minutes when you could have spent those last 30 minutes walking around the block with your dog ?? Or maybe you sat on your ? chatting with your bestie for 45 minutes about nothing. Put those sneakers ? on and slip on some earphones and walk outside and get some exercise while you are catching up with your friend. .

If you actively decide that you will calendar ? in a workout for yourself a few times a week, you will start to see that it becomes a habit and you will feel better mentally and physically and sleep ? better as a result too.
Why Should We Exercise? So We Can Talk To Our Teens
.Parenting Hack 101: A great way to catch up with your teenager is to take a walk or invite her to some exercise class with you. I have learned that if you are doing some activity outside the home ? with your teen, it is easier to get them to talk to you. .

As a result of booking an exercise class to go kickboxing ? at a place like @keithcookestudio or ?♀️ on a treadmill to @burn60studios or ? @bodybysimone or a powerplate class @platefit you will end up in the car ? driving to the class which will give you another opportunity to talk to your teen.

And after your workout with all those good endorphins you are both feeling, your teen might want to chat more to you while you are getting a post workout juice ? or freeze ? from @pressedjuicery or a coffee from @caffeluxxe or @alfredtea for ? .
