The light top, striped skirt and hat in my photo keep the outfit clean. The set is Malbon, but I have not matched it to a current product name, so I am not linking a different set as if it were the same one. What I would copy is the formula: a coordinated top and skirt, simple shoes and one small accessory rather than a lot of extra styling.
If you are new to golf, choose a skirt length that feels comfortable when you bend and swing. Check whether it includes shorts, where the waistband sits and how the fabric moves. An outfit that looks good standing still needs to work through the whole round too. Try it at home before you take the tags off.

Wide pleats and a clean white finish make the Adina easy to pair with a red polo or a soft pink layer. It has attached inner shorts, a side zip and a zipped side pocket. Blossom is the brighter pink accent here. The Signature glove is AA cabretta leather with an adjustable hook-and-loop closure and perforations. A bucket hat is the small finish I would add to the set. The Dena version in Chalk Pink has a soft, unstructured cotton-twill shape with tonal quilting. It is not the exact white hat in my photo. This is the sportier option, with red-and-blue details around a mostly white shoe. The linked version is spikeless, with a sawtooth traction pattern and an external heel counter. It would pick up the red in the Malbon Isla polo without needing another bright accessory. G/FORE lists a standard fit and recommends your usual size for this style. Water-repellent material is not the same promise as a fully waterproof shoe.

Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState 30-Ounce Tumbler in Rose Quartz 2.0
The 30-ounce Quencher in Rose Quartz 2.0 keeps the pink theme softer. It has a handle, reusable straw, double-wall vacuum insulation and a narrow base. Stanley lists the base diameter at 3.15 inches and says it fits most car cup holders, but measure your golf cart’s holder before buying. The FlowState lid resists splashes; it is not a leakproof bottle to toss sideways into a bag. Fill it with cold water for a hot day and keep it upright and secure in the cart.

How to Put Together a Golf Outfit Without Overthinking It
Keep one thing as the main piece. If the polo is bright, choose a quiet skirt. If the skirt has strong stripes or a logo waistband, let the top be simple. With a golf dress, you have already made most of the decisions. Add shoes, a hat and the light layer you actually need for the weather.
Before buying golf shoes, ask whether the course or range has footwear rules. Choose something made for golf that fits your foot, and try it with the socks you plan to wear. A pretty outfit will not make up for shoes that rub halfway through the round. Check the current sole and waterproofing details rather than assuming every golf shoe handles wet grass the same way.
For the first round, I would pack fewer extras rather than more: a hat, sunscreen, a glove if you use one, water and the layer you want before the sun comes up. Keep a spare pair of socks in the bag if damp mornings are part of your routine. The wardrobe should make the day easier, not give you another thing to manage.
Check the Course Dress Code Before You Go
Golf clothes are not one-size-fits-every-course. Look at the club’s current dress code or ask the pro shop before your visit. Check collars, skirt length, denim, leggings and footwear. A casual driving range and a private club may expect different things. Do that check before you shop rather than discovering that your new outfit does not fit the setting.
I would also check the forecast and the start time. A morning round can need a layer even when the afternoon looks warm. A half-zip pullover is a useful extra for a cool start, but it is not a rain jacket. If wet weather is likely, use something designed for that job.
A Simple Starter Wardrobe for Women Taking Up Golf
Start with a top, skirt or golf bottoms, shoes and a hat. Add a sweater or jacket once you know when you usually play. Wear the outfit through a few practice swings at home to check the shoulders, waistband and hem. If anything pinches or needs constant adjusting, choose another fit.
You can make the wardrobe look polished without buying everything from one collection. Repeat a color from the skirt in the top, keep the shoes quiet and let the outfit do the work.
