Croatia by boat gives you a different view of the islands: stone towns one day, a quiet bay the next, and lunch by the water when you feel like stopping. Vis, Hvar, Stari Grad, Korcula and Lastovo were the places that stayed with me from our trip.

Vis: Swim Stops and Seafood Lunches
Vis was one of my favorites. We explored the island and stopped by the water for sardines, calamari and wine. Leave room for that kind of unhurried lunch rather than filling every day with plans. A swimsuit under a cotton shirt, a hat and flat sandals are enough for most of the day.

Hvar and Stari Grad: Two Different Paces
Hvar brought a livelier feeling to the trip, with boats in the bay and places to stop for dinner. Stari Grad felt quieter. I loved walking its narrow streets and small squares, then finding a place to sit with a drink. Bring one dress that feels right for both, with a small bag that leaves your hands free.
Korcula: Stone Streets and the Waterfront
Korcula was another lovely stop for a walk through town and a meal by the water. On our trip we visited the place associated with Marco Polo and ate at Nonno’s. I would leave time to wander rather than make the town only a quick stop between sailings.

Lastovo: A Day to Swim and Relax
Our day on Lastovo was about swimming and slowing down. Clear water and a seaside lunch were enough. Keep the boat bag simple: swimwear, a dry layer, sunscreen and a refillable bottle, with shoes that work on deck and ashore.

What to Wear for Croatia by Boat
Mix a swimsuit and light shirt with tailored shorts or linen trousers, then add a dress for dinner. Flat sandals and a small crossbody are more useful in town than heels and a large tote. A soft knit is worth packing for the evening even when most of the trip is spent in swimwear.
SIR Chocolate linen midi dress with gathered waist

The chocolate linen midi has a gathered waist and narrow straps. I would wear it with brown flat sandals for lunch, then add the small black bag for dinner. Pack a fitted layer for a cooler evening and check the size guide before choosing the fit. SIR Chocolate linen midi dress with gathered waist.
Axel Arigato White leather Clean 90 Bee Bird sneakers

The white leather Clean 90 Bee Bird sneakers are the city-walking option. Their clean shape works with trousers or a dress, but wear them at home first. They are not a substitute for the footwear your hiking route needs. Axel Arigato White leather Clean 90 Bee Bird sneakers.
Hunza G Black crinkle-stretch Pamela scoop-neck swimsuit

The black Pamela swimsuit keeps the beach edit simple with a scoop neck and textured crinkle fabric. The page lists a one-size fit for XS-L; check the current fit guidance rather than assuming one size works for everyone. Hunza G Black crinkle-stretch Pamela scoop-neck swimsuit.
Le Specs Gold Metaphor aviator sunglasses

Gold Metaphor aviator sunglasses add a small warm-metal detail beside brown leather and a quiet dress. Keep them in a case in your day bag rather than loose beside chargers or keys. Le Specs Gold Metaphor aviator sunglasses.
LESET Pink wool Jesse polo sweater

The pink Jesse wool polo is the soft layer for the plane, a cooler afternoon or dinner. I would wear it with trousers, then carry it over a dress so the same piece does more than one job. LESET Pink wool Jesse polo sweater.
JUDE Brown leather Dusty fisherman sandals

Brown leather Dusty fisherman sandals give a simple dress a little structure. The closed woven shape feels neater than a pool slide, but choose your walking shoes separately and try the fit before the trip. JUDE Brown leather Dusty fisherman sandals.
Polo Ralph Lauren Black Studded Polo ID Shoulder Bag

The small black leather Polo ID bag is the statement accessory, with silver-tone domed studs across its curved shape. I would keep the dress and shoes quiet beside it. Polo Ralph Lauren studded Polo ID shoulder bag.

Wow, it’s so beautiful there! I had no idea!
Looks lovely!
