Even if the influencer is interested in what you have to offer, they may not have the time to accept every request that comes their way. This is especially true of effective influencers in niche markets, and you want to do everything possible to have them work with you.
The first impression is something you can’t afford to ignore. When reaching out to influencers, consider how to contact them, ask yourself these questions:
- What methods will you use to reach them? Email? Social media? In-person connection?
- How will the influencer benefit from working with you – what unique things do you have to offer?
- What do you want to get out of the relationship? Sponsorship mentions? Promotional reviews? Other types of content?
