Farmshop In Brentwood Country Mart
Aside from the weather, California has popular food shops that everyone can enjoy. One of my favorites is the Farmshop that is a Los Angeles institution since 1948. It is located in the historic Brentwood Country Mart.
It is known to be an artisanal restaurant, bakery and market all in one place. Their restaurant displays locally sourced, California-inspired fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bakery offers house-made pastries like scones, donut, muffins, and many more. While the market features a carefully selected assortment of prepared foods, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, produce, wine and beer.
But due to health protocols, dining in restaurants became restricted. During the lockdown, they continued to serve the community by offering a curbside pick-up, and home delivery.
Both casual and inviting, they honor local farmers and artisans in everything on their market shelves and in each dish their culinary team executes.
If you want to visit them, they are open daily from 7am-8pm. After the restrictions became easier, they are now back and serving food again as a restaurant! Here are some of the best-tasting dishes that you might want to try!
