What to do in Los Angeles during Fall
Summer officially ends but the fun never stops. Get ready for one of the most awaited season of the year! The perfect time to go outside as we bid good bye to summer heat and welcome the cooling winds. Other than the most awaited opening of Mr. Bones and my favorite pumpkin spice latte, here are some of the things you can also do in Los Angeles this fall.
Bike Around LA
LA may not be the most bike-friendly city but we sure have some great bike trails you can visit. The weather is just perfect to have a stroll at the Marvin Maude Trail where you can see LA’s best coastline including Sta. Monica. If you want to see the LA River, I suggest you take The Glendale Narrows trail. Or if you’re not the adventurous type but still wanna go biking, check the Griffith Park Bike Loop.
Go Whale Watching
Do you know fall is the best time to go see the famous (and thankfully not endangered anymore!) humpback whales? Time to head to Sta. Monica and check out LA Waterfront Cruise or Harbor Breeze Cruises! Definitely worth watching them side by side your boat.
Eat Pumpkin (and more pumpkin!)
It’s the time of the year for pumpkins! Time to try that delicious pumpkin recipe now. If you wanna go for the traditional pumpkin pies, I suggest get some from Pie Hole, Magnolia bakery, or Porto’s. If you want to be more adventurous, guess it’s time for you to try the pumpkin beer! And of course, who would miss the famous pumpkin spice lattes?
Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
Still can’t get enough of pumpkins? Well, Mr. Bones is the best place to go for your pumpkin fix! Find the perfect one for your jack-o-lantern or simply experience the farm life and the spirit of the traditional halloween. There are so many things to do for the whole family (and so many instagram worthy spots too!) My daughter and I had the chance to visit Mr. Bones and needless to say, we had so much fun.
Dress Up for Halloween
Who are you going to be this year? Prepare your costume and be anything you want this season! Halloween is definitely one of the highlights of the season. And don’t forget, Oktoberfest is just around the corner.
Hollywood Bowl
If you love music, check out the Hollywood Bowl. It’s the premiere destination for live music in Southern California, hosting everyone from Billie Holiday to The Beatles to Yo-Yo Ma under the iconic silhouette of its concentric-arched band shell.
Shutters on the Beach
Enjoy the best Sta. Monica has to offer by staying at Shutter on the Beach. It’s the perfect time to enjoy the sunset this season. Plus, don’t miss out on their 50% daily hotel credit.
Century City Mall
Everything under one roof–whether you’re looking for the latest fashion trends, great food, some free art sessions (and many more activities for you and the whole family), come and visit Century City Mall where you can find everything you’re looking for.
Eataly
Bringing Italy right at the heart of LA. Who doesn’t love freshly made pasta and pizza? And of course, don’t forget to try their specials for this season (clue: pumpkin)
And of course, don’t forget to add these to your wardro this fall!
