5 Reasons I LOVE being a Professional Photographer – Guest Blog Post
1. I’ve always been a creative and drawn to the arts. Having grown up in a creative family, I’m fortunate that I was encouraged to follow my passion for photography and now I get make it my life’s work! How fun is that?
2. I love proving folks wrong when they say: “I hate how I look in pictures”! Nothing is more validating than sending off a gallery to a client and having them absolutely LOVE the images from their session or wedding, including the portraits of themselves!
3. This “job” has given me many opportunities for travel. So much so, that a 1/3 of my wedding business is Destination or travel based.
4. Being a part of a creative community is unlike any other work environment that I’ve experienced. When the creative juices are flowing, you’ll never know what we’ll cook up. I’ve made it a point to surround myself with fellow artists and creators and love that they continue to push me as an artist.
5. I get to make time stand still for a moment! Photography is a love of mine, but what I love even more is preserving memories for my clients. And those they love to be cherished for generations to come.
Short Bio: With a degree in Design and a Masters degree in Fine Art Photography, Molly has spent the last decade traveling as a lifestyle, editorial, and special event photographer. She has circled the globe a number of times and is sought out for her clean and classic photography, but more importantly the experience she provides her clientele.
