Moms Take Care of Yourselves. Moms who is taking care of you? I have been talking about this a lot and I think it’s important for you to hear me. Now that the kids are back in school, it’s time to check in with yourself.
Self-care is so important for working moms and stay at home moms – let’s not judge one another and support one another. It’s hard enough out there without divisions among moms.

Are you tired? Feeling like you don’t have enough time for yourself or for your loved ones? What do you need?

Make time for you. Take a beat and listen to your body and your mind. Are you exhausted from the daily treadmill of life? Is the journey becoming too much for you? Are you saying yes to too many people? Have you said yes to yourself lately?

Try to do one nice thing for yourself daily. Take care of yourself so you can be all that you have been for your family, work, and friends, AND have something left at the end of the day for yourself. Maybe you need to give yourself a mini facial?

Take 10 minutes a day in the morning or at the end of the day and write or type down your thoughts. What do you want for yourself? Is it more free time? Is it more time with family? To have more free time? Give yourself permission to take care of you and work toward that goal. If you have always to get a job for extra side income and feel like you cannot go back to work, think about starting a side business. Whatever it is, set an intention.
