The FW17 Cinq à Sept show happened at 12:30PM EST today in New York City during a rather large snowstorm at Le Coucou on 138 Lafayette Street.
The Cinq à Sept Fall/Winter 2017 collection embodied elements of surprise which conjured up feelings of discovery and experience with each look. Inspired by contrasting themes, the collection showed many variations in design from edgy looks to very feminine dresses through contrasting textures and prints.
My favorites included the pink long sleeve ruffle turtleneck dress, the fur and velvet jacket, and the pink tiered chiffon ruffled dress. The mixed fabrics and textures created whimsy in each of the pieces while also creating a sophisticated Parisian feel.
