The first product that I used was the cleanser from Beauty By Design and it left my skin feeling cleansed and not dry. The ingredients in the cleanser include Salicylic Acid and a special complex of AHAs, BHAs, enzymes and bontanical extracts to clear up congested pores and acne blemishes. Enlarged pores and clogged pores were one of my main concerns in my Q&A session with Hillary so this was perfect. The cleanser had a nice clean citrus scent. The 2% of Salicylic Acid made my skin feel tighter after I cleansed my face without drying it out. It did’t turn my skin red. So I knew this cleanser was perfect for me.

The second product I used was the serum. I never understood the reasons for serum and always bought them and never used them in the past because no one ever explained the reason for them to me at the beauty counters. The fact that the treatment reason for this serum that was sent to me was printed on the bottle matched what I told the aesthetician I wanted from the skincare they recommeded made everything very simple. My concerns included unclogged pores. So the serum they sent me was a treatment that would resurface the skin and reduce the production of sebum and inhibit whitehead and blackhead formation while leaving the skin smoother and vibrant. And guess what? This serum does do what it says it will do!

The third product I used was the moisturizer. I was not expecting much from a moisturizer since I have tried many moisturizers in my lifetime and a good moisturizer would have to be amazing to wow me since I have tried everything from drug store brands to luxury premium brands. This moisturizer did exceed my expectations. My skin felt firmer and brighter. I read the label on the bottle and the moisturizer had Vitamin C in it. I had no idea that this is what I needed, but my aesthetician Hillary knew that this was what I needed from texting with me for 10 minutes about my skincare concerns.

I am convinced this is the only way anyone should ever buy skincare again. This is probably why so many brick and mortar stores are closing in malls. People are not getting the knowledgable service they need from companies and companies online are offering those services to people in the comfort of their own homes.
